The CW50 sponsored the first Washington D.C. Fashion Beauty Lifestyle Expo on Saturday, Oct 10th, 2009, at the Grand Hyatt Washington. Greg Taylor, of Walish Gooshe, was one of the featured local designers, including fashion show and booth exhibit.
Greg Taylor intuitively knew what his clothing line, Walish Gooshe, was all about. Supposedly Walish Gooshe means sophisticated and classy in some language! We will have to get the translator to verify :o) but the clothing definitely brings these words to mine. The pieces I saw created images of easy breezy, bright summer days being enjoyed by a group of female friends, sipping wine and sharing intimate stories about their families and careers while looking effortlessly chic.
At Saturday's Expo, Mr. Taylor was busy greeting folks and working his booth, after putting on a fashion show, but still took the time to chat with me. He was warm, friendly, and very charming.
On my short time schedule, I couldn't look at all the pieces and get all the info you need to know so I will be following up with an in-depth interview very soon!
